Chickadee Timber Frames aspires to build custom, unique, high quality, traditional style, smaller Timber Frame buildings that are complete and built on site.

Timber Frame buildings can be a stand alone structure or as an addition to an existing building.

Small Timber Frame Shelters

The small timber frame shelters can be used for a guest cabin, retail kiosk, hiking trail rest stop, granny suite, garden feature, potting shed, outside kitchen, sun shelter or whatever else you can imagine.

Porch Additions, Log or Timber Frame:

Why not add a beautiful timber frame or log porch addition to the front of your existing house or new construction? It can be either an open breezeway, or an insulated entrance. The natural wood will add a warm welcome and curb appeal to your home.

Different Finishes for your porch addition or small shelter:

All timbers that are used in construction are band sawn and are not planed.

If desired, the timbers may be sawn on only two sides leaving two sides with bark on them for a rustic appeal.

A hand hewn look may also be applied to the timbers if an old world look is desired.

Timbers frames that are built using timbers will only be sold in the natural finish, (no stain or sealer), and if the customer desires the structure to be stained or sealed, that will be their responsibility.

In some cases, we may have aged lumber or timbers available for certain projects. This is based on availability.

For log structures, unique logs or weathered logs may be available if desired.
